GoldKrupp LLC

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, request legal support services, submit documents, communicate with us, or make a payment.

Effective September 2, 2026

GoldKrupp LLC ("GoldKrupp," "we," "us," or "our") provides apostille and document-authentication assistance, process serving, mobile notary and signing services, court and vital-record retrieval, field services, and related legal-support services. We respect the privacy of our clients, website visitors, document subjects, recipients, witnesses, and business contacts.

Important: Please do not send highly sensitive documents through an ordinary contact form, text message, or unencrypted email unless we specifically instruct you to do so. Contact us first if you are unsure how to transmit a document.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information we process through:

  • the GoldKrupp website and online request forms;
  • appointments, service orders, document submissions, and customer support;
  • telephone calls, text messages, email, and in-person interactions; and
  • work performed for individuals, law firms, businesses, government entities, and referral partners.

This policy does not apply to independently operated websites or services that publish their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Depending on the service requested, we may collect:

  • Contact information: names, business or law-firm names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and mailing or service addresses.
  • Service information: appointment details, pickup and return-shipping instructions, deadlines, destination countries, document types, case information, court information, and service-of-process instructions.
  • Documents and files: documents submitted for review, notarization, apostille, authentication, signing, retrieval, delivery, or service of process. These documents may contain personal information about you or other people.
  • Identity and verification information: identification details or copies when reasonably required to perform a service, verify a signer, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
  • Communications: messages, emails, call details, text messages, customer-support requests, feedback, and related correspondence.
  • Transaction information: services purchased, charges, refunds, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited billing information received from a payment processor.
  • Business relationship information: job title, employer, referral source, account instructions, invoices, and service history.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, we and our technology providers may automatically receive device and usage information, including IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and interactions with website features. We may collect this information through server logs, cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from a person or organization ordering a service, courts and public-record sources, government agencies, referral partners, payment processors, shipping carriers, contractors, or other parties involved in completing the requested assignment. If you provide personal information about another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide it for the requested service.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • evaluate, schedule, provide, document, and complete requested services;
  • review documents and communicate service requirements or status;
  • coordinate with notaries, process servers, signing agents, couriers, contractors, courts, record custodians, Secretaries of State, federal agencies, embassies, consulates, and other authorities;
  • process payments, issue receipts, manage refunds, and maintain business records;
  • communicate with clients, document subjects, recipients, witnesses, and business contacts;
  • operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
  • measure website performance and understand how visitors find and use our services;
  • send service-related notices and, where permitted, information about our services;
  • enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and resolve disputes; and
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, insurance, and professional obligations.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to provide a requested service or operate our business, including to:

  • Service professionals and contractors: process servers, notaries, signing agents, researchers, record retrievers, couriers, field agents, document reviewers, and other professionals assigned to a job.
  • Government and legal recipients: courts, clerks, record custodians, Secretaries of State, the U.S. Department of State, law-enforcement or federal agencies, embassies, consulates, foreign authorities, and other offices involved in a request.
  • Operational providers: website hosting, cloud storage, email, communications, scheduling, analytics, spam prevention, document management, accounting, and customer-support vendors.
  • Payment and shipping providers: payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention providers, postal services, and private carriers.
  • Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities and other parties: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, a valid government request, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, enforce agreements, or respond to an emergency.
  • Transaction parties: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, acquisition, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not share mobile opt-in information or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Payments

Online card payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Square. Payment providers collect and process card details under their own privacy and security practices. GoldKrupp generally receives transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, and limited billing or contact information rather than the complete payment-card number.

We recommend reviewing the applicable payment provider's privacy notice before submitting payment information. We may retain invoices, transaction records, and payment confirmations as required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

6. Cookies, analytics, and spam prevention

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality, security, preferences, performance measurement, and analytics. We may use services such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand website traffic and interactions. These providers may receive device, cookie, and usage information as described in their own policies.

Forms may use automated spam-prevention tools, including CAPTCHA or similar services. Those tools may collect device and interaction information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated activity.

You can restrict cookies using your browser settings. Blocking cookies may cause certain website or payment features to work differently. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference, we will process it as required.

7. Calls, text messages, and email

If you give us a telephone number or email address, we may use it to respond to your inquiry, coordinate an appointment or assignment, request missing information, provide service updates, send confirmations or receipts, and address customer-support matters.

Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may ask us to stop nonessential promotional texts by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP or contacting us directly. Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent communications reasonably necessary to complete an active service or transaction, unless prohibited by law.

Please remember that ordinary email and SMS are not guaranteed to be secure. Avoid sending Social Security numbers, complete payment-card numbers, account passwords, or unrequested identity documents through those channels.

8. How long we retain information

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including completing services, maintaining assignment and notarial records where applicable, responding to questions, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods vary by the type of record and service. We may keep transaction and business records longer than preliminary inquiries or duplicate uploaded files. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or securely dispose of it, subject to technical limitations and lawful backup practices.

9. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. The appropriate safeguards depend on the nature of the information and how it is processed.

No website, email system, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You submit information at your own risk, and you should contact us immediately if you believe information connected to a GoldKrupp service has been accessed or used improperly.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request that we:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • provide access to or a copy of certain personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete certain personal information;
  • restrict or object to certain processing; or
  • honor an applicable opt-out right.

To protect clients and document subjects, we may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law—for example, when records must be maintained, disclosure would affect another person's rights, or information is protected by legal privilege or another exception.

You may submit a request using the contact information below. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If we deny a request and the law gives you a right to appeal, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”

Texas residents

Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, subject to the Act's scope, business-size provisions, and exceptions. GoldKrupp does not sell sensitive personal data. If our practices change in a way that requires consent or an opt-out mechanism, we will update this policy and provide the required choice.

California and other U.S. residents

Residents of California and other states may have additional rights under their state privacy laws when those laws apply to GoldKrupp. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

11. Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and children should not submit information through our website. A parent, legal guardian, attorney, or authorized adult may provide information concerning a minor when reasonably necessary for a requested legal-support service. If you believe a child submitted personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

12. External websites and services

Our website may link to payment providers, shipping carriers, government agencies, social networks, mapping services, or other third-party websites. GoldKrupp does not control those services and is not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the privacy notice of any external service before providing information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, vendors, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional notice when appropriate.
